It was once a dream. Getting into the tech field and developing real software was once a dream. The journey has been long and for sure I can't promise it was easy. Challenges have been my building blocks.
I commenced my long journey to model my dream back in primary school in my third grade. I started with playing computer games, word processing tests, desktop publishing among many other reactional activities.
Suprisingly, much of my tech knowledge is self taught.
Besides the self training, I highly value training others since one sharp axe sharpens another.
In my ideas on platforms to train others, I like it teaming up with my friends who have a similar ambition which really works for us.
Over the past years, I have gained many skills over my journeyin technology. Among them are; am a full stack web developer, developing mobile application, developing desktop application, data analytics using SPSS, Matlab among others, digital marketting, team work skills, leadership skills and many others.
Organize events and workshops to introduce Huawei courses to students and market the companies products. Also, to represent DeKUT in Huawei activities.
Working together with other officials, members and the school administration to meet the clubs mission and objectives.
Organizing events and workshops to train students on creation of websites and mobile application.
Organizing seminars and activities to create awareness and train on how to handle cases of Gender Based Violence
Addressing issues affecting students and keeping students updated on upcoming activities and meetings involving students in the school.
Making the world know of what we do and marketting our activities and events to members.
Monitoring the club activities and implementing the clubs objectives and goals.
Am currently persuing my Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology at Dedan Kimathi University of Science and Technology, where I am gaining lot of new ideas and learning alot both in my class work and activities beyomd class work. Being in the university has also enhanced my leadership skills, working as teams and more over teaching others.
I joined the Kenya Methodist University, and persued for my professional course in International Computer Driving License.
I attended high school at Giakanja Boys High School, in central Kenya where I made great achievement academic wise, leadership skills and great tech expertise.
